Went outside my fandom bubble and saw people being cancelled for shipping two characters who tried to kill each other once damn is this the limit nowadays
"you'll finally have a villain worth fighting,
and i won't be just a joke to you."
look a quote from atsv really got to me okay. just HEAR ME OUT (stills under the cut)
personally I believe the reason Mokuba is handling this exchange at such an INORDINATELY LOUD VOLUME is so that Kaiba, who is still up on the bridge, is sure to overhear him carrying out said duties with such skill and efficiency and maybe afterwards will tell Mokuba what a good job he did. Atem simply does not understand this.

i used think Yugi & Co. were just bad friends, abandong Ryou and stuff, but i realized that they're just used to him wandering off randomly and reappearing, mostly fine.
Yugi & Friends: Bakura, the fuck did you go for 5 hours?
Ryou: bro, I wish I knew
Miho occupies such an interesting place in the constellation of ygo canons because while she does exist in the manga she's in like...two panels, of one chapter, and then is never seen again. And then Toei made her a major character. But Toei lives in its own unique niche alt canon that's not connected to either of the two main ones (Manga or Anime). And she has zero presence in the anime, because it doesn't adapt the single chapter she appears in.
So she's technically a manga character but almost everything about her is Toei invention and it would be more rightful to simply consider her a Toei-exclusive; but she occupies a space in fan imagination larger than any other Toei-exclusive-element does, and people tend to act as if she is a manga character, possibly because they haven't read the manga and didn't realize she's a non-entity.
I dunno. She's an interesting one, that Ribbon-chan.
Toei does kinda adapt the chapter she’s in in that they keep the villain and the penalty game. but yeah, it removes the parts with Honda’s love letter and Ribbon, so it also kinda doesn’t.
that being said, Miho in the Toei show is an absolute delight! she’s got a ton of personality and has fun interaction with the other characters. i adore her
